Accreditation
The 10th International Workshop
on Scleroderma Research is sponsored for CME credits by Boston University
School of Medicine.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the
Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Boston University
School of Medicine and University College, London/Royal Free Hospital Centre
for Rheumatology. Boston University School of Medicine is accredited by the
ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

for a maximum of 27.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)(tm). Physicians should

Target Audience: Scientists and clinical investigators doing research
in the pathogenesis of scleroderma and related disciplines.
Educational
Objectives: By the conclusion of the Workshop, participants should be
able to:
- Utilize new and current
therapies for complications of systemic sclerosis, including pulmonary
fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension and digital ischemia
- Identify the components
of the state of the art in clinical trial design for patients with
systemic sclerosis
- Describe the
latest scientific information about the pathogenesis of systemic
sclerosis, including immunologic, vascular and fibrotic aspects of the
disease.
